The Accounts Officer is responsible to ascertain that all daily revenues have been received by the hotel and ensure the transactions are properly recorded.
Responsibilities
- Auditing daily revenues, night auditor logbooks, Food and Beverage reports and ensuring accuracy of the records.
- Supervises the procedures and reports of Front Office and audits.
- Reviews all rebates and allowance vouchers, ensure it has been obtained proper authorisation and approval in compliance with policies and procedures.
- Audits the charges to city ledger and credit card companies to ensure all charges are properly approved, legible signatures are obtained, proper vouchers have been used and accuracy of total of the charges.
- Carry out surprise checks on revenue of Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa & Gallery and Laundry.
Requirements
- Well-organised with excellent multi-tasking abilities
- 1 or 2 years of working experience in same or similar field in the hotel line will be an added advantage
- Good interpersonal skill and team-oriented person
- Able to work independently
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- Must have the right to work in Malaysia
