Job Description

  1. Plan and organize hotel activities to drive sales.
  2. Manage and monitor hotel expenses and track inventory.
  3. Plan and implement marketing campaigns with marketing teams.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with visitors, clients and vendors.
  5. Conduct hotel budgeting and financial planning. Suggest and implement new ideas.
  6. Determine KPIs and Track KPIs and prepare reports.
  7. Manpower planning, hiring and conduct onboarding for hotel staff.
  8. Evaluate and review staff performance.
  9. Ensure safety and adherence to rules and regulations.
  10. Prepare and manage schedules and shifts.
  11. Participate in daily operations meetings to liaise and coordinate closely with support departments regarding general administration and operations issues.
  12. Check that all Front Office employees report to work punctually and are well groomed before each of their shift.
  13. Conduct daily briefings and ensure that all pertinent information is well received by team members.
  14. Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Front Office and that departmental standards and procedures set out are strictly adhered to. 
  15. Managed Reservations Department in a high house situation and recommend actions to be taken. 
  16. Check on closed-out dates to ensure efforts are made to achieve 100% occupancy with the highest yield possible.
  17. Coordinate full house situations and makes all necessary arrangements to handle overbooking and pledge relocates. 
  18. Analyze market trend, review rooming list and motivate Front Office employees to up-sell rooms with the view of achieving higher yield and increasing revenue. 
  19. Makes courtesy calls to VIPS, long stay and corporate guest to obtain feedback and pro-act to handle any lapses in service standards.
  20. Handle all guest correspondences and ensure prompt follow-ups.
  21. Manage daily room inventory and coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure requested rooms are cleaned according to arrival times. 

Job Requirements

  1. Familiar with hotel management industry is added advantage.
  2. Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management/Restaurant or equivalent.
  3. Preferably senior marketing executive in Hotel Management/Tourism Services/F&B industry or equivalent.
  4. Candidate must possess good interpersonal, effective communications skills, organized & well structured, computer literacy.
  5. Work experience as FO or Sales and Marketing in hotel industry is adding advantage.
  6. Experience with hotel reservations software e.g. Ezee system is add advantage for this position.
  7. At least 5 years working experiences in related fields are encouraged to apply.
  8. Required language : Mandarin, English & Bahasa Malaysia.
