Job Description

  • Immediate recognition of all guests as they approach and using guest name where possible in a polite and professional manner. 
  • Read log and initial report. Act on relevant information.
  • Immediately assist guests with their luggage and escort them to their room with their luggage.
  • Ensure all luggage or items stored are tagged with the guests’ name and room number, then logged in the Luggage Log Book. The store should be locked at all times for security purposes.
  • Check and clean outside entrance door. Ensure that window/glass areas in both entrances are kept clean.
  • Ensure that you have a thorough product knowledge of the hotel and general knowledge of Johor Bahru attraction places.
  • Ensure that all duties are carried out in line with the hotel policy, with high standards of personal appearance, hygiene and correct uniforms and name tags outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time / or as and when required.
