Job Description

  1. Specialise in Malay Cuisine and Ramadhan Speciality.
  2. To ensure that the Outlet Restaurant produces consistently high quality food items according to current menus and cards and sets standards.
  3. Maintains profitable food production level according to forecast.
  4. Participates in training and development of employees
  5. Maintains set standards of hygiene in food production area.
  6. Maintains all operating fixed equipment.
  7. Recommends promotions and special awards.
  8. Performance appraisal of associates.
  9. Controls associate levels according to manning guide.
  10. Controls associates rosters, vacation and attendance records.
  11. Attends meetings as requested.
  12. Ensures he is present during the peak hours of service at service passes, and makes rounds of all production areas.
  13. Maintains all operating equipment at par and prepares forecast.
  14. Initiates food requisitions.
  15. Liaises  closely  with  the  Executive  Sous  Chef  on  new  methods  of  food presentation and recipes.
  16. Initiate requisitions for materials and supplies and presents them for approval.
