Human Resource Department
Operates, maintains and repairs the Electrical system, Fire Fighting system, PABX & telephone system, Standby generator, Hot Water system and similar system to provide desired comfort level to guests and reliable sources of utilities for proper Resort operation.
Regularly performs and supervises other in planned maintenance including monitoring, servicing, repairing, cleaning, checking of fire extinguishers. Also maintains in operating condition fire fighting equipment and monitors conditions affecting building security or causing potential fire hazards.
Maintains and prepares proper procedure manuals of planned maintenance systems and work schedules for all areas of work under his jurisdiction. Directs and supervises subordinates as well as outside contractors where necessary. Expedites action on maintenance reports. Keep all relevant maintenance manuals securely.
Arranges to keep adequate levels of supplies and spare parts relevant to maintenance & engineering requirement within his jurisdiction and informs Chief Engineer/Assistant Chief Engineer of equipment and supply requirements.
Keep maintenance & engineering areas and adjoining areas in clear and orderly conditions. Maintains related tools and equipment in good condition, stores relevant spare parts and supplies in an orderly fashion and is responsible for security of this items.
Critically evaluates all work activities under his supervision as a basis of developing more informative data for management decision making, increased efficiency and/or reduced costs.
Keeps Chief Engineer/Assistant Chief Engineer promptly and fully informed of all problems and unusual matters of significance.
Plan, organize and execute all necessary Preventive Maintenance work within the Resort.
Supervise the proper execution of the work, organize and execute the require Corrective Maintenance work.
Establish efficient methods to correct or prevent typical cases of breakdown, failure or damage, or to procure that repairs be economical as regards both materials and labor.
Maintains equipment history cards on all existing equipment and makes suggestion and recommendations to the Management as to save costs, saving devices and acquisition of new equipment.
Must be familiar with all the locations and operations of fire-fighting equipment and services in the Resort’s Fire Brigade/Fire Fighting Team.
Maintains good liaison and working relationships with various government departments like Pihak Berkuasa Tempatan, Tenaga Nasional, Telekom Malaysia, BOMBA, Suruhanjaya Tenaga Elektrik and Gas Malaysia and etc.
Coordinates all work activities with other functional areas to minimize inconveniences to members, house guests, safety problems and operating expenses.
To perform any other duties assigned by the Management from time to time.
