·Monitor the quality and quantity of cake that is prepared.
·Has knowledge of cake/ pastry preparation according to recipes, method of cooking/ baking, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
·A team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
·Committed and able to come-out or suggest ideas for improvement or idea for new cakes.
·Inventory of stock, ordering and check quality of raw material.
·Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
·Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
Requirements and skills
·Experience in Pastry or relevant role.
·Great attention to detail and creativity.
·Organizing and Self leadership skills.
·Willingness to replenish professional knowledge.
·Knowledge of Food Safety Policies and guidelines.
·Working knowledge with ingredient limitations (pastries that are gluten free, sugarless etc.)
Certificate in culinary arts is an added advantage
