1. Clean and prepares all basic food items mise-en-place for both a la carte and buffet
2. Helps to prepare orders according to the standard procedures
3. Picked up food requisition from the store and well arranged all the items according to the FIFO system
4. Cleaning and tidy up the walk in chiller for fresh items
5. Adheres strictly to the cleanliness of the kitchen area as well as equipment and machines
6. Maintain proper personal appearance
7. Adheres strictly to the standard recipes for the various dishes and avoid the wastage
8. Checking and refilling the buffet items
9. To cut and clear food items from the buffet
10. Pay attention to the safety, security and energy saving rules
11. To avoid wastage of food items
12. In some instances, is in contact with customer (barbeque, grill etc….)
13. Any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time / or as and when required
