Job Description
- Assist Finance Manager with the smooth and efficient running of the Finance Department by ensuring all Hotel’s policies and procedures are strictly adhered to.
- Provide timely and accurate month-end financial statements.
- Assist the Finance Manager in Forecasting/Budgeting and assist Department Heads in producing their annual budgets.
- Supervise and ensure smooth function in areas; General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, Cashiering, Income Audit, Cost Control, Stores, and Receiving.
- Proper maintenance of Fixed Assets Register and tagging exercise to ease fixed assets/operational equipment identification with physical assets sighted on a quarterly basis.
- Prepare and submit tax returns (SST/TTX/WHT) or surveys by respective government departments on a timely basis.
- Coordinate internal or external audits, month-end/year-end closing of annual accounts, and statutory reporting.
- Ensure renewal of all licenses, contracts, insurances, etc. done on a timely basis
- Provide training and supervision to develop subordinates in knowledge and skills.
- To perform other job-related duties as assigned within the timeframe given.
