Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To safeguard the physical well-being of the hotel's property, employees and guests.
  • Adhere to approved safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment.
  • Report work related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to manager/ supervisor.
  • Identify and report unsafe work procedures or conditions to the management.
  • Protect the privacy and security of guests and co-workers.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information. 
  • Handle business interruptions and complaints according to the standard operating procedures. 
  • Conduct follow-up investigations of all accidents, injuries, losses, or criminal acts occurring on the property. 
  • Conduct interviews with relevant parties in order to obtain statements and information related to incidents. 
  • Monitor the issuing and receiving of all keys and walkie-talkies to ensure the safekeeping of these items
  • Check and ensure that there are no undesirable persons wandering in the hotel lobby, F&B outlets and public areas.
  • Patrol all floors and the parameters of the hotel. 
  • Check cleanliness of the hotel perimeter, service lifts, locker rooms, passage way, etc. 
  • Control the traffic at the entrances and car park.
  • Register all vehicles parked at the hotel entrances and ensure these vehicles have legitimate business dealings with the hotel.
  • Check employees' belongings when they leave the hotel to ensure that no hotel's items are being taken out. 
  • Register all visitors and contractors in the hotel, and check their belongings when they arrive and leave the property. 
  • Familiarize with all outlets, locations and their operation times and offer necessary assistance to guests.
  • Be responsible to check fire facilities, fire security and manage the fire alarm.
  • Be familiar with first aid and fire emergency procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Minimum 1 year relevant job experience in similar capacity in hospitality or tourism related industry 
  • Ability to display sound judgement and attention to detail
  • To be flexible and willing to work shift duties
