Job Description

As a Business Analyst in the hospitality industry, you will be responsible for analyzing market trends, customer behavior, and financial data to provide insights and recommendations that drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction. You will work closely with management and cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that optimize operations and increase profitability.

  1. Analyze market trends: Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and industry data to identify opportunities for business growth and development.
  2. Conduct market research: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviors, and use that information to develop effective marketing strategies.
  3. Develop financial models: Develop financial models to forecast revenue, profitability, and cash flow, and analyze financial performance to identify areas for improvement.
  4. Monitor business metrics: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, such as occupancy rates, revenue per available room (RevPAR), and average daily rate (ADR), and provide recommendations to improve performance.
  5. Identify cost-saving opportunities: Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency, such as streamlining operations, optimizing staffing, and implementing new technology.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to develop and implement strategies that align with business goals.
  7. Develop and present reports: Develop and present reports that summarize findings and provide actionable recommendations to management.
  8. Conduct competitor analysis: Conduct competitor analysis to understand industry trends, best practices, and potential threats, and use that information to develop strategies to stay competitive.
  9. Participate in strategic planning: Participate in strategic planning by providing data-driven insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
  10. Determining, identify and analyze alternative solutions to complex resort requirements along with the provision of guidance to the teams
  11. Ad hoc reporting as per need and as per request
  12. Top-notch analytical skills to analyze and conceptualize solutions for complex problems
  13. Collaboration with operations, marketing and finance for the development of all sales performance
