Service Associate - Finance

Located at the heart of the Kuala Lumpur city Centre, Traders Hotel by Shangri-la is looking for a Service Associate - Finance

As Service Associate - Finance we rely on you:

a)    To ensure that total Hotel revenue is accurately reported and classified ;
b)    To perform analysis to identify possible gaps in revenue recognition ;
c)    To assist with selected receiving and store functions ;
d)    To assist to calculate food and beverage costs ;
e)    To support monthly stock-taking activity ;
f)     To ensure that spot checks are conducted towards effective internal control ;
g)    To assist in producing timely reports for management decision making ;
h)    To carry out other duties as may be required by management from time to time.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Accounting/ Hospitality/ Hotel Management.
• Proficient in oral and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. 
• With a minimum of one (1) year working experience in Accounting, Purchasing, Front Office, or Food & Beverage.
• Equipped with circumspect, strong initiative and enthusiastic characteristic.
• A person who are firm, honest, high integrity, and flexible. 
• Good knowledge of computer (office) software and operates office equipment skillfully.
• A team player, meanwhile able to work independently is a plus.
• Due to work permit restrictions, only citizens of Malaysia and Permanent Residents of Malaysia shall be considered.
