·         Ensure proper adherence to food, preparation recipes to be in accordance with standards

·         Strive to eliminate spoilage and wastage in the food preparation process

·         Ensure food preparation are in accordance with HACCP standards

·         Always adhere and enforce strict health & safety regulations and practices

·         Setting and cleaning up of food station

·         Communicate and working closely with cleaning personnel to ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen is maintained at all times

·         Checking and monitoring of kitchen equipment’s functionality

·         Eliminate food contamination during preparation of food

·        Assists Direct Superior in partnering together with frontline to conduct monthly documented Food Safety and Hygiene self-audits

·         Ensures that outlet strictly comply with International Food Safety and Hygiene standards, as well as standards set by the Malaysian Food act and as per company policies 

·         Have a complete understanding of the operational Do’s and Don’ts and Occupational Safety and Health standards
