Job Description

  • Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner. Records daily arrival of guests on the guest rooming list during breakfast period.
  • Always thank and give fond farewell to guests conveying anticipation for their next visit. Check the reservation book for reservations for the next meal period.

  • Distribute reservations among all servers equally, informing them of all information necessary. Example, Birthdays, anniversaries, bill not to be taken to the table or any other unusual requests.
  • Always answer the phone according to the telephone etiquette standards by using a friendly tone and being informative. To answer guests’ inquiries accurately and promptly.

  • To have complete knowledge of all food and beverage menus: The ingredients; the preparation; how items are served and with what; know your prices; know the daily specials.

  •  If there are any guests complaints, retrieve a manager or supervisor immediately. Follow hotel rules and regulation at all times.
