Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Payroll Management

  • Manage the full spectrum of payroll processing for all employees in compliance with Malaysian statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, HRDF, etc.).
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly payroll, including allowances, deductions, overtime, commissions, and bonuses.
  • Handle statutory submissions and reporting, including liaison with government bodies when required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure data integrity of all payroll information.
  • Reconcile payroll reports and assist in preparing HR-related financial reports for management review.

2. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline through various sourcing channels.

3. HR Operations & Administration

  • Maintain and update employee records, HRIS data, and personnel files.
  • Prepare employment letters, confirmation, and termination documents.
  • Manage employee benefits administration, attendance, and leave records.

4. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and HR policy matters.
  • Support employee engagement activities and promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Assist in handling disciplinary actions and grievance cases in accordance with company policy.

5. Performance Management

  • Coordinate performance appraisal exercises and ensure timely completion.
  • Support managers in developing performance goals and improvement plans.

6. Compliance & HR Policies

  • Ensure HR and payroll practices comply with Malaysian labor laws and company policies.
  • Support audits and maintain proper documentation for HR and payroll compliance.
