Barista Supervisor

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management

  • Supervise daily operations of the café/barista team

  • Lead by example on the floor, maintaining high service and cleanliness standards

  • Schedule shifts, manage breaks, and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours

  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new baristas

  • Conduct regular check-ins with team members to promote growth and engagement

Customer Service

  • Ensure customers receive outstanding service and product quality

  • Address and resolve customer issues or complaints professionally and promptly

  • Foster a welcoming, energetic atmosphere for players and café guests

Coffee & Product Quality

  • Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based drinks and other beverages

  • Ensure all staff follow proper drink preparation, health, and safety protocols

  • Monitor stock levels of coffee, milk, supplies, and order inventory as needed

Operations & Reporting

  • Open and close café according to venue procedures

  • Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar, machines, and seating area

  • Assist with daily cash handling, POS reconciliation, and sales reporting

  • Collaborate with the Venue Manager on promotions, events, and seasonal offerings

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years’ experience in a barista or café supervisor/lead role

  • Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and equipment

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • Interest in sports, wellness, or social spaces a plus!
