Job Description

Job Summary:

The Income Auditor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of daily revenue and related financial records. This role involves auditing and reconciling revenue transactions, verifying supporting documents, and preparing daily revenue reports. The Income Auditor ensures all income from different departments is accounted for, complies with internal policies, and is reported in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Revenue Audit:

    • Audit and reconcile daily revenue reports from all departments (front office, F&B, spa, etc.).

    • Verify all posted transactions and correct discrepancies.

    • Ensure proper documentation and authorization of discounts, voids, rebates, and adjustments.

  • Financial Reporting:

    • Prepare the Daily Revenue Report (DRR) and distribute it to management.

    • Compile and summarize daily sales, payments, and income data for accounting records.

    • Report irregularities or unusual revenue patterns to the Finance Manager or Financial Controller.

  • System Monitoring:

    • Ensure the POS (Point of Sale), and other systems are reconciled and balanced.

    • Identify and resolve posting errors or inconsistencies between systems.

  • Internal Controls & Compliance:

    • Monitor compliance with Resort policies, procedures, and accounting standards.

    • Maintain proper filing of revenue related records for audit purposes.

    • Assist in internal and external audits as required.

  • Collaboration:

    • Work closely with front office, F&B, sales, and other revenue generating departments to validate reports.

    • Coordinate with the Night Auditor and support their role in balancing daily transactions.
