Job Specifications:

  • Diploma or Degree holder in Hotel & Catering Management or Marketing
  • Minimum 5 years relevant working experience, similar capacity preferred
  • Able to travel and must possess own transport
  • Customer oriented with strong leadership skill
  • Good interpersonal and communication skill
  • Team Player and must be self-motivated and Result Oriented
  • Computer literate and able to work independently
  • Committed, dedicated and high job responsibility

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recommends all methods of maintaining and increasing business volume.  This includes advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, publicity, community relations, special rates projects, employee training and guest relations.
  • Creates and recommends special promotions/programs to achieve greater profitability in Food and Beverage through banquet sales.
  • Achieves greater profitability for the banquet sector by: -
    • Increasing business volume during off-peak periods.
    • Increasing local food and beverage and banquet sales.
    • Always enhancing the image of the Hotel in the local community
  • Procures new and repeat business particularly for banquet for the Hotel by maintaining contact with airlines, travel agencies, commercial houses, private clubs, professional associations and corporate clients within the community and neighboring markets.
  • Provides market intelligence to superior on sales strategies, product and etc of the Hotel’s competitors.
  • Participates in sales blitzes, trade fairs, both local, outstation and/or overseas, when necessary.
