Directly accountable for driving the Top line Budget and Forecast by implementing a commercial strategy and business plan that will generate revenues and lead to sustainable growth
Collaborate with Revenue Manager to establish an optimal mix, review and validate forecasts, develop strategies for different demand periods, and align pricing strategies.
Implement sales strategies, train and motivate sales team to develop new accounts and maintaining existing accounts to maximize profits for the hotel, while maintaining guest satisfaction.
Generate sales leads and drive conversion; Actively prospect and qualify new business opportunities to achieve individual and hotel revenue goal assigned.
Monitor and ensure Sales CRM adoption.
Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and outside contacts in order to produce FIT Corporate, group and/or convention business for all revenue streams
Responsible in ensuring cross selling platforms within the Travelodge Hotels portfolio
Marketing and Distribution
Lead hotel level marketing and public relations activities.
Collaborate with Distribution Team to adhere to rate parity, activate and optimize channels performance across multiple booking platforms
Keeps in touch with Market Managers and monitor competitor's activities
Monitor trends and review/amend strategies accordingly in line with the evolving market conditions. Be a brand ambassador advocating the brand to external parties and ensure full compliance on brand identity execution
Good understanding of booking pace and lead time across business mix
Support pricing strategies with good market insights on demand and competitors movement
Travel when required to promote the hotel and develop potential business
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum 6 years of experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting, with direct supervisory experience over a sales team
Fluent in written and spoken English. Other languages will also be an advantage.
Knowledgeable and able to confidently use Microsoft office programs.
