Hygiene Officer is responsible for the highest level of sanitation and hygiene standards in the hotel.
Responsibilities
Ensure all food served to guests and associates are free of microbiological, chemical and physical contamination, and all work areas conform to minimum requirements set by local health authorities and Banyan Group Food Safety Management System Corporate manual standard.
Carry out training in hygiene food preparation practices.
Carry out on-going inspections and random spot checks on food preparation areas.
Ensure checklists are filled and action plan in place to address areas of non-compliance.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year experience in Hotel business or a similar capacity
Strong communication, interpersonal skill and problem-solving skill
Experience in handling food and hygiene standards of various types of kitchens/ restaurants
Able to work independently
Must have the right to work in Malaysia
